Your Pathway to Becoming a Certified Metering Technician

Thinking about becoming a Certified Metering Technician with Bluecurrent? Before you complete the registration form below, here’s what to expect, and how Supply Workforce, as a Bluecurrent Field Service Provider (FSP), supports you every step of the way.

Whether you’re new to metering or already certified, our streamlined pathway ensures you’re properly trained, accredited and ready to work on Bluecurrent sites.

Step 1: Onboard with Supply Workforce

Start by connecting with our team. We’ll guide you through the onboarding process and determine whether you need full training or can fast-track your certification.

Already certified? Talk to us first, we may be able to accelerate your onboarding today.
 

Step 2: Training That Fits

Your training is delivered in partnership with IAC Safety Services, an industry-recognised RTO specialising in electrical safety and metering training.

The combined program includes:

  • UEEEL0078 – Install and commission whole current electricity meters
  • Required safety units for electricians working in metering environments

This integrated approach ensures you meet both the technical and safety requirements for Bluecurrent certification.
 

Step 3: Bluecurrent Training Program, Final Assessment & Accreditation

After completing your training, you’ll undertake the Bluecurrent Final Assessment, a practical and theory-based evaluation reviewed by Bluecurrent assessors. Once successfully completed, you’ll receive your official Bluecurrent Accreditation, qualifying you to work as a Certified Metering Technician.
